What we do with your information.

1. The short version

   This website has no accounts and no contact forms. We do not ask you for anything to read these pages. Analytics and advertising measurement from Google load only if you press Accept on the cookie notice. If you decline, or ignore it, they never load.

   The server that delivers the site does keep the usual technical access records, the same ones every website keeps. They are explained further down, under Server records.

   Two things bring other companies in: the booking window, which belongs to Booksy, and the map on the Location page, which belongs to Google. Both are explained below.

2. When you book

   Every Book Now button opens Booksy, the booking system the studio works with. The name, phone, email and card details you type there go to Booksy and to us as the business. They do not pass through this website.

   Booksy takes the deposit. We never see or keep your full card number.

   While that window is open, Booksy's own privacy policy governs what happens inside it.

3. The map

   The Location & Hours page shows a real Google map. Loading it sends your IP address to Google and may set Google cookies, the same as if you had opened Google Maps yourself. The map loads only on that page.

   Tapping it offers to open Google Maps or Apple Maps. From there, those apps and their policies take over.

4. When you write to us

   You can reach us by WhatsApp, email, phone or Instagram. We keep what you send — your message, your name and the way to answer you — so we can reply and manage your appointment.

   WhatsApp and Instagram belong to Meta, and their policies apply to that conversation just as they would to any other chat.

5. What we write down in the studio

   Every visit starts with a scalp or skin evaluation. We note what we observed and which protocol was used, so the next visit continues from there.

   Programs of three or six sessions include comparison photos. We take them only with your agreement, we use them to follow the programme with you, and we do not publish them anywhere without asking you again, separately.

   These notes stay in the studio. They are aesthetic and wellness records, not medical records: Galena Spa does not diagnose or treat medical conditions.

6. Measurement, only if you accept

   If you press Accept, we load Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement. They tell us which pages people visit and whether they tap Book Now, WhatsApp, the phone number or directions, and whether that visit came from one of our Google ads. This helps us spend less on ads that do not work.

   Google receives your IP address, your browser and device type, the pages you view, an approximate location and those taps. We do not send Google your name, phone or email, because this site never collects them.

   We do not use it to show you ads on other websites. Ad personalisation stays switched off. Google Analytics data is kept for the period set in our account, never more than 14 months.

   You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Declining after you accepted removes Google's cookies from this site.

7. What this site leaves on your device

   Always: galena-intro, which only remembers that you already saw the opening animation in this tab and disappears when you close the tab. And galena-consent, which remembers whether you accepted or declined, so we do not ask on every visit.

   Only if you accept: Google cookies named _ga, _ga_ followed by letters and numbers, and _gcl_ followed by letters. They identify a browser, not a person.

   There is nothing else. No profile of you.

8. Server records

   Like any website, the server that delivers these pages keeps technical access records: IP address, browser, page requested and time. They exist to keep the site running and secure, not to identify you.

9. What we never do

   We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not use your visit to show you ads on other websites.

10. Your choices

    Write to us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. For anything you typed into Booksy, you can also ask Booksy directly from your own account there.

    If you would rather we did not keep comparison photos, say so and we will run the programme without them.

    Analytics and ad measurement are yours to switch on or off with Cookie settings, at the bottom of every page.

11. Children

    This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

12. Changes to this policy

    If anything here changes, we update the date at the top of this page. Nothing is applied retroactively.
